The Expert version leaves the easy questions behind and keeps the harder ones: the Chihuahuan Desert, the Superior Uplands, the Cumberland Plateau, the Flint Hills, the Ouachita Mountains, the Snake River Plain, the Wyoming Basin, Truchas Peak, Cape Sable and Lake Okeechobee are only a taste. Each game asks 40 of the 103 landmarks, with three minutes for the whole round and three attempts per question. Each wrong attempt costs points, and the time left at the end earns a bonus. Only players who already know the standard version of “Physical Geography of the U.S.A.” will feel at ease here.
