This quiz tours the United States from many angles. There are capitals, often less famous than the big cities (Montgomery for Alabama, Sacramento for California), official nicknames such as Prairie State for Illinois, USPS two-letter codes, most populous cities, comparisons of area, population or density, and the states that border Canada. Some questions even ask you to recognize a state on the map, like Colorado. The 651 questions are split into five series, and every game draws from each of them. The warm-up asks 30 questions in three minutes, then comes a one-minute sprint. A great way to prepare a road trip or to follow American news.
